DOORS & DOOR FRAMES - A hand finishing service for dipped/stripped doors.
DADO RAILS & SKIRTING BOARDS
FIREPLACES - Marble, slate, limestone, cast iron, tiles - Also a cleaning and polishing service. Basically anything covered in paint or varnish that can be stripped on site.
For 12 years I worked in the publishing industry, I gave up full time employment in 1997 after my second child was born. During this time I enrolled in a 2 year furniture restoration course. The furniture I restored all needed stripping first, this is where I discovered my skill for paintstripping, although it is a time consuming skill, it is a very satisfying one. When stripping paint from wood, it is instantly transformed, it can make the darkest hallway very bright. The wood is restored back to its originality and is beautifully natural.
